What does it mean to be a Christian man?

In a word, a Christian man is WARRIOR!

Think about it, we have Holy Spirit within us. We have the strength, power and authority through Jesus Chris our Lord. The creator of the heavens and the Earth is our Father.
Jesus promises, in part:
Matthew 5:5 NKJV, “Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.” Note: Meek = Bridled strength and power.
Luke 10:19 NKJV, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Joshua 1:9 NKJV, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
John 3:16 NKJV, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Romans 8:31-36 NIV
“More Than Conquerors”

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Is the Bible hidden in your heart?

The list of reasons to have courage and stand firm in the truth is extensive. I could just as well through the Bible at you and tell to read it. Well, that would work too, but many people wouldn’t read it.
However, it take more that than reading the Bible to be a Warrior. You must believe the words you read, you must make the words who you are. Look at the Bible as a “How to Manual” directly from God. The words need to become who you are and your thoughts, words, and actions will reflect were your heart is.
Revelation 21:7-8
Just read this section of Revelation. It can be found in chapter 21 and verses 7 and 8. This version is from the “Amplified Bible”, “7 bHe who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. 8 But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters andoccultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Remember, these are not my words, they are God’s words.
Self Reflect

In your own reflection, where on the spectrum of belief do you fall? Think about it? Do you call yourself a Christian but when you look in the mirror you are wobbly at best on standing firm on the truth? It’s all about self reflection and a relationship with Jesus. None of us are perfect and we all have things to work on but, in many case we forget that we have a perfect Father. And He stands in between death and destruction and life. Again, I ask where do you stand? The Word of God tells us to have faith, courage, and to stand firm in the truth. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life. Nobody comes to the Father except through Me.” In short, if we truly believe the Word of God, also know as the Holy Bible, and hide God’s words within our heart we truly just need to have faith and everything else will fall into place. Faith will lead to courage and no fear, righteousness and a walk that is according to God’s purpose as in Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been calledaccording to his purpose.”
May you walk according to God’s purpose for you. May you be strong, courageous, meek, and humble in your walk to glorify God. May every step you take be with faith in you Father knowing you belong to Him and His hand of protection is on you.
