Holy Spirit Spoke to Me

Holy Spirit gave me three phrases on Oct 31, 2025 while my wife and I where in São Paulo, Brazil in a Catholic Church during a sermon in Portuguese.  Which I couldn’t understand in the least. All three statement are important, but today I’m going to focus on the third one:  You have my written Word, there is no excuse, says the Lord!

The Three Statements

• You must not defile that which I see as precious, says the Lord

• You must not condone that which is an abomination to me, says the Lord

• You have my written Word, there is no excuse, says the Lord! 

Who am I?

I have not come to make you feel good.  I have not come to tickle your ears.  I have not come to Pat you on the back.  I have come to wake you up!  I am nothing more than His hands, feet, and mouth going from place to place proclaiming what He has laid on my Heart.  The days are drawing nigh  and you must take action while grace still abounds.  If you don’t know Jesus as your personal savior, it’s a good day to get to know Him. I can hear your thoughts now, who is this guy and who does he think he is.  Let me tell you who I am.  My name is Von Dailey, but my Father calls me son.  And, I am a son of the most high, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the creator of all things, the beginning and the end, the great I Am.  Yes, that’s my Father, and I’m not only His son but also His Ambassador.  He created me, He saved me, He paid my ransom, HE’s sanctifying me, I’m 100% His. 

How Does it Affect You?

Let me ask you, what does the phrase, “You have my written Word, there is no excuse, says the Lord!” mean to you?

Let Me Spell it Out for You

Holy Spirit told me the following phrase: 

“You have my written Word, there is no excuse, says the Lord!”

Authoritative Declaration

It’s a clear, authoritative declaration from the heart of God, emphasizing, sufficiency and accountability The “written Word” (the Bible) is not just another religious book. To God, it is His own voice preserved in print—living, active, sharper than any two-edged sword. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”.  God is saying, “I’ve already spoken. I’ve put it in writing. It’s available. It’s understandable on the things that matter most.” “There is no excuseuse” removes every defense: “I didn’t know,” “It wasn’t clear,” “Times are different,” “I’m too busy,” or “I’ll get to it later.” The Holy Spirit is cutting through all of that with finality. “Says the Lord!” adds the weight of divine authority. This isn’t a suggestion or a gentle nudge—it’s a courtroom-like pronouncement from the Judge who has already provided the evidence.

Now you might say this prophetic word was specifically for me since Holy Spirit gave it to me.  And, I would say, “Yes, it includes me.” And I’m sure it could and would be argued that it was a word specifically for me.  It would go something like this, “it"s a A word just for you personally. Thus an invitation (and warning) for me to press deeper into Scripture, to stop making excuses for areas where I’ve been lukewarm, distracted, or disobedient. The Spirit might be saying, “Everything you need for life and godliness is already in My Word. Pick it up. Believe it. Obey it. No more delays.””  And, I would agree, but I would also say, "Look in the Mirror". In addition, on October 6, 2019, God spoke to me and told me, “That a lot of people are going to come to Him because of my testimony and the things I go through.” With that I wholeheartedly believe it is a word to “share with others” and perhaps to believers who treat the Bible casually, or to unbelievers who claim they “haven’t heard enough” or “need more proof.” It echoes the heart of Romans 1:20, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,” and John 15:22 where Jesus says, “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.” but applied specifically to the written Scriptures we now possess in abundance.

As I see it, it’s a broader prophetic warning for the times, that in an age of endless information, distractions, and competing voices, God’s written Word stands as the final, sufficient revelation. People (and the church) will be held accountable because they had access like never before.

Do Not Be Deceived,

It’s an urgent message yet merciful at the same time. Merciful because God didn’t have to give us His Word in written form—He could have left us with only creation and conscience. Urgent because time is short, and ignoring or neglecting what He’s already written has consequences.

Do not take this for granted, and don’t keep it to yourself, because anyway you slice it, time is short.  Just like James 4:14 says, “whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”
