There is One Truth, and it's all Encompassing!

Born into Spiritual Warfare

I was born in 1966 and I was raised in public school.  It was drilled into my head that praying in school was unconstitutional. Being but a boy I didn’t think much of it but it actually had a profound affect on me way into my adult years.  I was programmed, and I mean, PROGRAMMED, not not talk about Jesus because you might offend someone.  I was taught to compromise because everybody has a right to their own thoughts and opinions.  And, God forbid if you offend someone.  If you offend someone then you are a bad person.  Sound familiar?  Anybody relate?

Conflicts With The Word Of God

This teaching is in direct conflict with Bible and, is it not a great ploy by Satan to confuse children before they can realize the truth.  Jesus said in  Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Then again in Matthew 18:20 Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

And, yet again in Revelation 12:11 we are told, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

The references in the Bible go on and on but these three, even though one would more than sufficient, give us a the understanding that Jesus wants us to tell people about the gospel, He wants us to pray together and share our testimonies. All which was stifled when the Supreme Court ruled that it is unconstitutional to have organized prayer at school. It basically took on a life of it's own that anything "Jesus" was out of bounds.

Jesus also said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me”.

Don't Be Deceived

I’ve heard the phrase, “I have my truth and you have your truth”.  That is an out and out lie straight from Satan.  Jesus said, He is the truth.  The Word of God is the truth because it’s His word.  Henceforth, there is nothing more powerful than the truth.  Jesus is the truth.  And Jesus says to spread the gospel to all nations.   Jesus says the prayers of two, three or more gathered are powerful.  Jesus says to share your testimony and do not love your life to the death.  Totally opposite of what the Supreme Court Decision in 1962 embodied when they announced organized  prayer in school is unconstitutional.  As one nation under God, in my opinion, this is absolutely sacrilege!

Really Think About It

The further we step away from God as a country, the less moralistic we will become.   I heard it said that is the churches responsibility to teach morals.  I’d like the outline of that plan.  How is the church responsible for teaching morals?  Only 3 of 10 people attend a church gathering on a regular basis according to news.gallup.com in an article titled: “Church Attendance Has Declined in Most U.S. Religious Groups”  25 March, 2024.  That includes all churches and denominations in America so there is a wide variance in the beliefs of the 30% of people who attend “church” on a regular basis.  So, let’s say the church does a great job of teaching morals, which is actually out of the churches wheel house, but lets say the church did a bang up job teaching morals to the 30% of Americans who go to church on a regular basis.  That leaves 70% of Americans with no morals.  Hmmm, interesting.  I guess the government could mandate that the entire population of the United States attend "moral" training at a local church to be taught the golden rule. Of course, we would have to ignore the nonexistent separation of church and state clause in the U.S. Constitution.

Don"t Shift Blame

ree

Ok, let’s be honest.  It isn’t the churches responsibility to teach morals.  It’s the responsibility of parents to teach morals.  It’s the responsibility of mom’s and dad’s to teach their children morals.  Oh, but wait, the traditional family structure with a mom and dad is out of style in today’s United States.  According to man, not God, it’s alright if two women marry, or two men marry, or a man that was a woman marries a woman that was a man.  The church has nothing to do with the moralistic outrage that is being accepted and made into law in this country.  Laws that totally go against what the Bible describes as a husband and a wife as well as multitude of other heinous activities.  So I ask, how is the church responsible for teaching morals?  Go back at least 60 years, I could make an strong argument for a much longer time, and you’ll see evidence of what use to be a once great nation under God begun to unravel because it decided they could do better without God.  Even though the Roe vs Wade on abortion decision of 1973 was overturned in 2022 the damage was already caused with over 65 million babies aborted.  We are warned in Luke 17:2, “It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones”. And there are 7 things God hates and they are found in Proverbs 6:16-19.  But in particular, for this article, we’ll mention 6:17, “…Hands that shed innocent blood”. If that doesn't concern you then you need more than moral training. Let me recommend repenting and turn back to God and His ways. Accept His grace and mercy and proclaim Jesus died on the cross and rose three days later to wash your sins away. Let the old man or woman die and let the new man or woman be born at talked about in Epohesians 4:17-29.

Don't Hurt the Young!

God makes it really clear that we are not to hurt the young. Period! So, let me get this straight, the church is suppose to teach morals when the Supreme Court of the United States itself says it’s “OK” to kill babies.  We’re is the truth in that decision?  There is no truth in that decision because Jesus was not involved at all  But the 1973 Supreme Court of the United States,  the greatest country on earth, led the charge in the destruction of moral values of this country in the decision of Roe vs Wade and legalized murdering babies .  But, they didn’t stop there.  The Supreme Court then in the lawsuit titled Obergefell v. Hodges argued that marriage is guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment and in 2015 they deemed same sex marriage constitutional.  Again, totally adverse to what God tells us in the Bible.  The Supreme Court is doing a bang up job at the constant chipping away of the moral values of this country and ignoring what's laid out in the Bible.

Free Will

We all have access to a Holy Bible, even if we need to go to a church building to put our hands on one.  Most people in the United States can read and are responsible for their own actions.  After all, God gave each of us free will and He lets us choose our ways.  So to blame the church for the lack of morals of this country being in shreds is a huge misnomer and passing the buck, I’m my opinion, to clear your own conscience.  It's not much unlike the Pharisees claiming Jesus worked under Beelzebul in Matthew 12:24.

There is One Truth

ree

There is one truth, that truth is Jesus. You can learn about Him in the Word of God, also known as the Holy Bible.  As a parent, it’s your responsibility to teach your child.  And as an adult, it’s your responsibility to learn and discern truth from fiction.  We absolutely live in a fallen world that is embroiled in Spiritual Warfare. If you don"t understand you can read Ephesians 6:10-17. Pay particular attention to verse 6:12, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age". In addition, know John 10:10, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly". Let that verse digest for awhile because it's full of Truth straight from Jesus. Lets be straight forward with each other, we are each responsible for our own actions after we reach the age of accountability. We each have to answer to God with or without Jesus by our side. I know we are in a time that people shirk taking responsibility and that's another plow of Satan. It's time to wake up, repent of your sins and come back to God through Jesus.

Remember this statement:  There is nothing more powerful than the truth.

May You Always Walk in the TRUTH!
