Knowledge, Wisdom, Relationship

These days when I sit down to write something that is supposed to be short and sweet, one idea leads into another and another and another.  It almost gets the the point that I could just hand you a Bible and say, “Read and memorize, meditate, believe and do what this says”.   Sometimes that seems like the easiest thing to do.  But, I’m pretty confident the good intentions of doing all those things with the Bible rarely make much beyond good intentions. There are a plethora of reasons and I can’t blame anyone because I’ve fell into that trap myself multiple times.  And as much as I wish it were true, good intensions never gets a person far.

As much as "life" kept me away from my Bible, life is what actually turned me more and more to my Bible.  And the craziest thing started to happen, the more I started to pick up my Bible and really delve into it the more I wanted to read it.  The more I read the more Holy Spirit shares with me, the more I want to spend time with God and build a relationship. It like a perpetual upward spiral of knowledge, wisdom and love.

As promised, short and sweet.  The last thing I want to share in this article is some advice other than know God's Word and build a relationship with Him. Be observant and look around and really take a long look at what is happening around the world.  If you don’t know Jesus as your savior, there is never a better time than right now because you aren’t promised tomorrow.  If you do know Jesus as your savior, show and tell everyone you meet how great He is.

May You Always Walk in the Truth!
