FREEDOM!

In the infamous last word of William Wallace, he yelled a word that deep within every person is a desire for wether they believe it or not. That word is, "FREEDOM"!

Freedom!  What does that word mean to you?  Where does freedom come from and what is it?  True freedom cannot be modified, suppressed, taken away or hindered in any way.  Man cannot give it and man cannot take it away.  

True freedom comes from the Lord and is ours.  It’s ours for the taking we need the courage to take it and the mindset to understand what it is.  So even if you’re locked up in a dungeon and shackled to the wall you still have freedom because of who we are in the Lord.  No matter what your situation is as a believer you are free.  With that freedom comes courage and power which makes us unstoppable in accomplishing the work to expand the Kingdom of Heaven.  

2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Freedom is a mindset that as believers we must embrace.  We must believe that no matter what our situation is that we are truly free. We must believe that the Lord has a plan and we are a part of that plan.  We must trust that he knows best and we must have faith that what we are going through will glorify God in ways we may not understand in the moment. 

Galatians 5:1

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

John 8:31-32

...Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Mathew 10:28

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Freedom comes from knowing Jesus, knowing the truth and living the truth.  Nobody can take this freedom away. As warriors knowing and living the truth gives us the power and courage to stand firm.  Our strength comes from the Lord and we can accomplish anything through him.  We are free no matter what situation we find ourselves in and we must have faith in the Lord and know we are in the palms of his hands.   We must know that he will never leave us or forsake us. We must believe that we belong to him for eternity and that our freedom is a result of what he has done for us.  So live free, do not be suppressed by what man says or does but walk according to God’s will.  Our direction comes from the Lord and Holy Spirit and no matter what man does to us we are unstoppable because our freedom is from God Almighty Himself!
