IT'S PASSED TIME TO STAND FIRM IN THE TRUTH

HORIZON TO HORIZON!

As I sit here and look across the horizon of our country and the world I find it so surreal of what I see. It’s to the point I want to pinch myself to wake up. The problem is that I’m already awake and there is no hope of waking up to a different reality.  Not yet anyway!

WHY?

As I look across the landscape I ask myself how did we get to where we are?  Why did we allow God to be kicked out of our country as we sat silently by.  Why did Roe vs. Wade pass in 1973 as we sat on the sidelines without saying a word.  How in the world did the feminist movement gain traction to the point that today so many women think there is no place for a man in the family.  All while we sit by and be silent.  Why did we allow the LGBT movement to become mainstream which in turn paved the way for Transgenderism?  All the while we were quit and kept our heads down.   And now we have artificial intelligence (AI) and Transhumanism is being touted as the way to live forever. How do we sit silently while human trafficking is at an all time high right here in America-the land of the free and home of the brave, Yeah right! When do we stand up, be heard and let it be known that enough is enough?  When do we stand firm in our faith? Where do we draw the line were we have the confidence to stand firm for what is right and true?   When is political correctness put to the wayside and we stand courageously for Jesus and God’s creation and make the statement that it doesn’t matter what you do to us, we are not going to sit idly by and watch the destruction of what God created and loves? Because what we've been doing as a whole makes us as culpable as the destroyer. we become as guilty for allowing bad things to happen without intervention as the perpetrator of the crime! Just claiming to be a Christian as you sit on the sidelines does not buy you freedom.

SOME THINGS ARE WORTH SACRIFICING YOUR LIFE FOR!

 Jesus came to testify to the truth and He showed us that there are things worth dying for and sanctity of life is one of those things. We must stand up, not for our sake, but for the sake of others who cannot stand, who cannot defend themselves, who are helpless.  How can we call ourselves Christians and sit idly by while the murder of children, mutilation of children is taking place, and the absolutely repulsive trafficking of children is happening right under our noses.  Whether you believe it or not, your life does not belong to you.   You were not put on the earth to be comfortable and enjoy your little bubble.  We were born into a spiritual war and you either make a stand for truth or you, even if inadvertently, help Satan destroy God’s creation.  Sitting by because you have the idea that it doesn’t affect you so you mind your own business and keep your head down tells me you’re a coward.  You lack faith in the things Jesus has promised us and you’d rather live a comfortable life than cause waves to stand firm on the truth with no compromise.  You know what I see and hear in circumstances like this? It's very basic, what I hear and see is a person with that attitude saying, "I'm good so to Hell with everyone else". I can imagine there are those that would say, "That's not Christ like". I'd say to them, "Have you heard of false prophets"?

LET ALL THAT YOU DO BE DONE IN LOVE.

I hear people say being a Christian is all about love.  Yes, God is love, and yes we need to love others but that definitely does not mean sit idly by while Satan and his minions destroy God’s creation.  It also doesn’t mean violence but does mean stand up and be counted and the willingness to give all in protecting and defending the defenseless.  I for one, do not want to try to justify to God why I sat idly on the sidelines and gave Satan and his minions free rein to kill, steal and destroy.  I will stand and let Jesus’s light shine before me, and shine into the dark recesses of evil.  I’ll stand firm in faith and have the courage to say “N0!” To evil, “Not on my watch”.  The road to destruction is wide and appears easy but do not be deceived.  The easy path leads straight to Hell. Be courageous enough to take the high road, the narrow path to life.  The path that glorifies God and is promised not be the easiest path.  It’s way passed time to stand up, and be heard, proclaim the truth, share the gospel, be courageous in the face of evil. But, by absolutely no means sit idly and be quit. If you are a Christian, you must stand up and take action to glorify God!  Are you with me?
