Nothing is Political and Everything is Biblical!

It's all Biblical

If you read my articles or watch my videos, you’ve probably heard me say, “Nothing is political and everything is Biblical”. I can imagine that there are at least a few people that don’t agree with me. And, I’m sure they would say that they even know people in politics or maybe the are a representative or senator proving politics is real.   I would agree, politics is real, and I agree government was set up by God.   So what exactly do I mean when I say’ “Nothing is political and everything is Biblical”?  That’s a good question, I’m glad you asked.

Remember Genesis 1:1,

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”.  I reiterate, in the beginning, God created, the heavens and the earth.  Then He created the birds and animals, crawly things, man and woman etc..  We are God's creation and because of sin by one man, Adam, death entered the world.  So far, nothing political but all Biblical.  Then, because we have a loving God who is full of grace and mercy He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.  Still nothing is political but all Biblical.  Jesus died to wash away our sins and all we have to do is accept His gift and repent of our sins, change our ways and ask Him into our lives.  Still, nothing political but simply God giving His son as our savior, Jesus, also known as the Messiah.  

Our Adversary

Still Biblical but we haven’t mentioned our adversary yet.  Yes, Lucifer, the ruler of this world, the devil, Satan, the father of lies.  According to John 10:10 Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”.  The thief, our adversary, Satan is the crux for where we find ourselves today.  John 8:44 speaks of Satan and those who follow him, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it”.  He does his best to warp everything...

Lie, Cheat, Steal--Deceive

Everything is still Biblical but now we have an adversary that lies, cheats and steals but can come across as an angel of light and can easily deceive those who are not knowledgeable or wise.  And there are many that follow him either knowingly or unknowingly.  Paul explained it well in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, “13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works”.

Warfare-The Battle is Real

It becomes obvious that with Satan in the picture and that he hates God’s creation he’s going to do his damndest to deceive people that man is our savior and not Jesus which in turn causes confusion and brings in all sorts of politics.  But don’t be deceived, it’s all still Biblical and you may start seeing spiritual warfare brewing.  According to Sun Tzu, one of the tenets of warfare is deception, and Satan is the Father of deception as said in John 8:44.

Armor of God

With spiritual warfare we are told as Christians to put on the Armor of God and how and who to fight in Ephesians 6:10-17, “10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  13Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  14Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  15and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;” Everything is still Biblical.

Wield Your Sword Wisely

As we prepare to wield or sword to be proficient in battle we must arm ourselves with God’s written word.  As a Christian, we must have an ongoing relationship with God the Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit, we must be humble yet fearless.  We have to have the knowledge, wisdom and courage to stand firm on the truth.  In Hosea 4:6 God warns us that, "His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge"…  We must be knowledgeable about the our battle manual if we are going to swing our sword with truth and confidence.  Jesus told us in Matthew 24:4, “…Take heed that no one deceived you. For many will come in My name, saying “I am Christ,” and will deceive many”. Remember, our adversary is the father of lies (deception), he hates God’s creation, and he’ll say anything to get you to doubt the truth.  It’s all still Biblical, politics will not fix this!

Know God's Word

As we continue down this path, as we glorify God with our words and actions we must remember Revelation 12:9-12, “9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their live to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”  Why these verses?  Because they tell us to have no fear, to speak up, to share our testimony and that time is short and our message is urgent.  Today is the day, tomorrow may be too late.  For instance take James 4:14, “whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” Remember, it’s all Biblical, we are here to glorify God.

Be Courageous

If you are afraid to stand firm on the word of truth and make yourself heard Review Revelation 21:6-8.  Pay particular attention to verse 8.  Here you go, “ And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” God did not give us a spirit of fear as stated in 2 Timothy 1:7.  So, the next time you have that inkling to speak be courageous and speak up! It's not man we are here to please, but God! It's not about politics, but all about the Bible.

Spiritual Gifts

The one thing that every Christian must always remember. Holy Spirit has given us gifts.  And those gifts can be used to glorify yourself, instead of God, and then thank God for the abilities He gave you.  Don’t fall into that trap, I did and it took me having a stroke to realize it.  The gifts Holy Spirit gave us are to be use to glorify God.  So what ever your gifts are and what ever your calling is,  be sure you are glorifying God and shining the light of Jesus in all that you do.   We were put here on this earth at this particular time for a reason and we each have a mission to accomplish.  Remember that and consider it an honor to be chosen to be here now, especially with all the evil and corruption rampant in the world today.  Because there is so much evil and corruption it’s of utmost importance that we let our light shine brightly into the dark recesses that we encounter and stand firm on the Word of God.  

Be a Warrior

Everything comes back to the Biblical. The war is real, so don"t be deceived and have unwavering faith in God. The war is real and the bounty is each person's soul. Man can’t save us, but we can shine the light of Jesus, we can be knowledgeable, wise and stand firm on the truth and help to show a better way.  

Who do you serve?  Your actions are all telling so don’t try to fool your self.  Are your actions self glorifying or are your actions glorifying God?   It doesn’t matter what I think, or what somebody else thinks.  This is a question we all need to ask ourselves and repent and ask for forgiveness when necessary.  As much as I want to stay on course, I have to reel myself in now and then.  I wish that wasn’t the case, but thank God for His grace and mercy and His Son Jesus. Christ my Savior!
