Forgotten Promises Resurrected,  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

What Ever Happens, Trust God

As a Christian it's not only important to know and believe in your heart God's promises, it's absolutely imperative to being a strong warrior in the battle the help expand the Kingdom of God and glorify Him. Hint, this isn't just for good days, it's for every remaining day of your life.

If you don"t know Jesus as your personal savior, there no better time than right now to acknowledge Him, wholeheartedly repent of your sins, and ask Him into your life. There is power in the name Jesus.

Proverbs 23:7 For as a person thinks in their heart, so they are….

As a Believer:

  • Remember to trust in God timing and don’t try to rush it

  • Remember, you are adopted son or daughter by God.  What could be better than that!

  • Remember who you are

  • Remember who you belong to

  • Remember God has a purpose for you

  • Remember, Jesus will never leave you or forsake you

  • Remember, your actions or lack of actions tell a lot about you.  Positive or negative

  • Remember, your strength comes from Jesus.  It doesn’t matter how strong you think you are, you’re not strong enough without Him

  • Remember, your power and authority come from Jesus, without Him you’re a sitting duck.

  •  Remember, Holy Spirit guides you but, only if you let Him.

  • Remember, Jesus died for you!

  • Remember, pride comes before the fall.

  • Remember, if you argue with a foolish person, they bring you down to their level.

  • Remember, sometimes silence is the best answer.  And, often times it’s deafening.

  • Remember, you have been saved through grace, so also give grace.

  • Remember, when you forgive you free yourself.

  • Remember, Satan came to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give life, and life more abundantly.  What side of the fence are you on?

  • Remember, Jesus said, “Fear not” 365 times in the New Testament.  Have you ever thought why He said it so many times?

  • Remember, the truth shall set you free.  Jesus is the truth...

  • Remember, if the Son set you free, you’re free indeed.

  • Remember, God said that His children die because of a lack of knowledge, and since they forgot Him then He will forget their children.  Moral of the story, read the Bible, meditate on what you read, and remember what you read and then make it part of who you are.

  • Remember, love God with all your heart and soul.  And love your neighbor as yourself.

  • Remember, Jesus gave you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over the ALL power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

  • Remember, pray for and bless your enemy.

  • Remember, no weapon formed against you will prosper.

  • Remember, If God is for you, then who can be against you?

  • Remember, God gave His only begotten son so that you don’t have to perish but can have eternal life.

  • Remember, God, Jesus and Holy Spirit love YOU!

  • Remember and never forget, Jesus’ heart breaks for all the children from 0 to 100+ that have been deceived and haven’t accepted Him as their personal savior.

  • This list keeps going.  For further instructions/reminders, I humbly ask you to open the Bible and read.
